The van starts fine if left to idle will warm up with out a problem and run well when hot, If reved when cold will missfire and lots of smoke for about one or two minunts. once warm the van performs perfectly.
The van origanaly came in to us as a non runner, the timing chain had jumped. We fitted a new head less cams and hydraulic tappets and new chain and sprockets.When we spoke to the customer it turns out our fault was pre existing.
There are not fault codes stored and the data looks to be Ok. The compresions are all good as well as a cylinder balace test on ford software. We have run with out the inlet manifold so its not EGR related. Its had new injectors, map,airflow and crank sensors The ECU had been tested We have tried an alternative fuel feed.
We are thinking it must be mechanical but have exhausted all posibilities any help would be apreciated.
