its very strange Mark yes I agree it does sound like timing but the fault was thers before the chain jumped. We have have replaced the head and chain kit. It starts perfectly and drives perfectly when warm, The fault occurs for about 20 seconds and only when reved hard if left to idle for a short time it doesnt happen.
