I will check the loom next. There are no faults in the cluster. The cluster and the engine show the fuel at above 50%. I read somewhere that that transits will shut the engine down when the fuel gets too low so the pump wont run dry.
I think it is some type of power /communication fault. Rubbed through wiring makes sense.
