Hi Steve, No my ISCAN II diag tool has no activation for engine components for M47 engine, but running through a test procedure - with ignition lights on the actuator is at its highest position and cannot be moved so the worm gear is being activated. When the engine is running at idle the actuator is at its lowest point which from what I can find out is normal, this also means the fuse is OK. The fact there is only one fault code 4530 makes me think this is a mechanical or air flow fault. I have cleaned out the EGR and cleaned and freed up the swirl flap system which now seems to be operating OK. The fact that by fitting a new breather has stopped the whining noise and the running problems now start at a higher rpm also makes me think this is not an elecronic issue - but I could be wrong!
