The customer wants to use the van for now even though it is misfiring, so I have built it up and he is collecting it.

The dummy injector would have been a brillint test, I will be investing, as I think this test would have left no doubt.

I dont think I will be doing any further work on this vehicle as the customer has got the (cant you just bodge it attitude) and I have just recently scrapped a citroen C8 for a customer that had timing belt failure but the injectors being stuck raised the repair bill dramatically.

I fear we will be seeing alot more problems from similar vehicles

You are correct Martin I have recently fixed similar issues by closing connectors up and wiring been chaffed.
