Can you narrow the leak down to a single injector (or cylinder?)
The dealer is talking crap, as there are no fuel passages internal to the head.
This is a Delphi system that resembles closely the one fitted to the majority of the 2.0 & 2.2 litre TDCi Mk III Modeo's. If you unplug the IMV & injectors, then crank it for no more than ten seconds, you will drive the system to full pressure & this will likely expose the offending injector. It maybe that it will only leak when hot though. It should be mentioned that it won't achieve maximum possible pressure when cranking, due to the limited pump speed. It should be enough to expose the leak I would have thought.
I would like to hear the dealer guys reasoning behind the condeming of the head. I reckon there would be some serious squirming & bullshit rummaging going on!
