Well Darren I think you could be right but hey i tried and now i have learnt something else.

If i told you who supplied it you would be surprised as they are well known and claim to supply large numbers of these with little problems and cant understand how it got built the way it was but hey ho it has a warranty and i will keep quiet about who it is as they have offered labour for all my trouble .

I did push them to let me strip the vanes as i have done this several times on vag and alfas as we have an aqua blaster which cleans the vanes and housing beautifully its a good earner and saves loads for the customer usually ,i dont go much on the goo thats on the market that you use on the car i found it not too usefull.

I admit this is the first one i have encountered with an electronic actuator and frankly i think its surrounded by myth and would like the correct info on how to set it up. It will come out eventually it always does .

if it fails i will post it here and the supplier has promised a replacement if required.
