Hi guys had a phew of these beasts on our books the inj system is known as HEAUI "hydraulically operated electronically actuated unit injector" the engine actually has three oil pumps one for turbo one for main engine feed and a third which looks like a injector pump this third pump provides oil to the common rail in the rocker box at very high pressure this pressure sits on top of the injector until the injector is electrically operated where upon the oil pressure enters the injector and act like a pd injector but uses the oil as opposed to mechanical energy to inject the fuel. Injector looms rail pressure sensor and oil pressure reg valve that sits in rear of high pressure pump are common problems for non start as well as pick up pipes and injectors. Will try and find my info on these engines when i get back to work later this week
