Have you got any details on the venues?
Would a course such as this be relevant to today's vehicles, or should it be considered as a foundation course for a better understanding of Diesel system operation?
I am not a diesel man to be honest. You mentioned in another thread, that "I thought I read that old diesel system were very easy to work on"!
Old diesels were pretty much a closed shop for me & they were usually farmed out to a diesel specialist. However, common rail technology has opened up many more avenues for sure.
When I look back at my early days, I am glad that I experienced the carburettor, plugs, points & condenser era. To learn the relationships of each subject has stood me in good stead. Often I can draw upon the experiences from the old days (not as old as most of you "Old Timers" though ) & I often apply my experiences to the modern system faults that I see.
I suppose Keith, that you experience something similar in the diesel market.
Cheers for now.
Dave
