I have a 2005 Skoda Octavia, which is lacking power, and smoking. I have code read the car and came up with the following fault code and description (16683 Boost Pressure Regulation control range not reached P0299)
I'm thinking of changing the Egr vavle, but wont to be 100% it is this before I buy part and fit.
It looks a coplicated Egr set up and am thinking it may be what ever makes the egr tick may be at fault.
Basicaly unsure. Is the egr solinoid and cooler bypass inside the egr system
Also when I removed the pipe which runs from air box to turbo, ther is a small puddle of what appears to be oil in the turbo housing.
