Thanks for the clarification. No engine management codes? The thing that bothers me about this is that I introduced a normal remap which would give the vehicle the customary boost in BHP and to customise the ECU map to over-ride any DPF faults. This effectively means that the ECU is unable to produce dtc's relating to DPF faults. Now, when I first went to the vehicle it was showing an EGR dtc which the garage's Solus apparently did not pick up for some reason. After I had done my deed the EGR dtc had disappeared. This I am told is expected. So....I ask myself, if there is an EGR fault would the ECU be able to pick this up now? The answer would be to go back and programme back to original specs and see if the dtc re-appears. More expense for the customer who now appears to be avoiding me. Would hate to see another gear box fitted when the fault all along has been low gear box oil and duff EGR valve...
