Was about to replace Crank sensor on grounds that its not expensive and CPS faults are noted in the autodata TSB section only to find that it is not particularly straight forward since the crank pulley needs to be removed.
Now, before I do this would anybody know if the crank sprocket is "Keyed"?
Increasing numbers of vehicles these days seem to have keyless pulleys meaning that the belt timing is lost if the central bolt is undone unless timing locking tools are used.Autodata is not clear on this one and though (since it has the sensor wheel on it) I would have thought that it would be it would be nice to know for sure.
Would anybody know what the case is with this one before I try to find out the hard way!
