This van had a fuel filter chane as part of a regular service, 2 days later the van stopped. The garage bled the system again and it went for another 2 days and then stopped again.

The garage repalced the filter housing, however, this on has a lifter pump on it. Will it still work this this sort of filter housing?

Codes logged are P1664 Fule inj pump malfunction, P1564 Inj pump requesting reduced fuleing. These caodes are logged in, engine ECU, inj ECU and pump. They will not clear.

Is there a way to test these pumps in situ?

If the pump is faulty, Autodata says to code them a PATS code is required, is this correct?

Also finally, can anyone tell me where the injector pump ECU is.
