Hi Phil. We have replaced several BSM under bonnet units and not had any programming whatsover to do.

We have even swapped and changed units with different part numbers and they all appear to work correctly. i,e we have fitted 307 BSM's to 206's etc without a problem.

I think that most of these Technical advice lines have usually little or no experience and rely on onscreen information to tell them what you need to know. If they dont know, they just say whatever sounds acceptable, it doesnt matter to them as they still get paid and appear to have done their job.

We have also had a few Partners/Berlingo's with water damaged BSI's that were either intermittent or total non starters.
