STALINGRAD FORUM: Panzer Army

Hi Russ (and/or other experts on the subject),

I know that initially when the attack on Stalingrad was decided Hitler sent one Pz Army south, then later when he realized that the 6th Army was not advancing as fast as he planned, he sent again this Pz Army to join 6th Army.
-1: What was this Pz Army? I think it was Pz Army 4, but I'm not sure as I can't find it on my sources, especially one map of the operations where I remember seing this Pz Army going south then back to Stalingrad.
-2: Now the what if: Would it have really make a difference if this Pz Army attacked Stalingrad earlier, together with the 6th Army? I mean could in such case the Battle of Stalingrad have been won by the Germans?
