need a wake-up call. I may not succeed all of the time, but I have managed to change the trajectory for many in my 29 years of teaching remedial literacy. Previous Message where a kid who had who had repeatedly failed at his probation was cut loose from it. the judge said, "im sentencing you to a lifetime of being a loser." he went harder and longer, but the upshot was that if you failed at this, barring a wakeup call, youre going to continue to fail, and youre likely going to end up in the same building on another floor in the near future. and that's kind of how i see this case. you cant always help someone who is uninterested in helping themselves. sadly the best you can do is hope they dont distract from people who have an interest in bettering themselves and those around them. 3 periods later, I walked past the student in the commons. She was supposed to be in class.

I wouldn't have thought twice about it...but because of the morning, I looked at her schedule and she was supposed to be in class. I again contacted her Dean. She is now in in-school suspension for the rest of the day. Sadly, that isn't really a deterrent to her at this point. It's probably an award for her to be out of classes. Previous Message Do you mind sharing what district you work for? If you do not want to, I get it. Just kind of curious about the local community. When I was in 8th grade, I was punished by my teacher for something I did not do. When I complained my dad (a school administrator), he responded that he believed me. But he also informed me that I was going to take my punishment and move on. The teacher was the final authority.

All the aromas, and can you focus on the class while you are eating? What is wrong with between class or at actual food periods? It’s not like students are going wire to wire with intense study.
