I wouldn't have thought twice about it...but because of the morning, I looked at her schedule and she was supposed to be in class. I again contacted her Dean.
She is now in in-school suspension for the rest of the day. Sadly, that isn't really a deterrent to her at this point. It's probably an award for her to be out of classes.

Do you mind sharing what district you work for? If you do not want to, I get it. Just kind of curious about the local community.
When I was in 8th grade, I was punished by my teacher for something I did not do. When I complained my dad (a school administrator), he responded that he believed me. But he also informed me that I was going to take my punishment and move on. The teacher was the final authority.
