unique to our school or a TRS thing. Anyhow, to answer the original question, I will be fully vested and retire when I'm 60. I considered going longer, but with the various health issues I have experienced over the past few years, I want to make sure I retire with time to enjoy retired life for a while.

Asked a student nicely to put away their phone during work time today. The student told me to "Get out [her] face." When I continued to nicely try and ask them what's wrong, etc., they repeated for me to get out of their face.
My confidence in disciplinary action from her dean is low.

I'm out of it enough not to realize some high school kids use food delivery to get their school lunch. Really?? Well, there's this from a local HS:
