The fact that people start to have worry over Chevys when they hit 90k miles vs Toyota and Honda owners not feeling the same anxiety until a 190k miles is wild to me. I just don't understand why people buy them. Roll back the clock 40 years ago and I'd understand the Buy American mantra for the reasoning, but most Hondas and Toyotas are more American made than Chevys today.

I have a 17 Malibu, a 17 Trax, and a 20 Equinox, and I have had no issues with them.

Now the Malibu and Trax are over 90k, so let's hold our breath, but so far they have been great cars.

I would like a new car but I hate buying cars and even more than that, I hate having a car payment. Another Accord is still the leader in the clubhouse when I do have to break down and get something. Camry is right up there as well. I like Mazdas but there is only one local Mazda dealership and the people who work there are douchebags.

Would you consider buying a Buick or Chevy these days? Hyundai or Kia? I want a vehicle that is going to last 6-7 years and hit 125-150k miles with few, if any, problems of note.
