His family has a collection of plots in a Jewish cemetery; his late father was from a large family. The friend owned a plot for himself and his wife. Some years ago when visiting his father, he noticed that some relative occupied his own plot adjacent to his parents' graves.

The cemetery claimed the records were missing.

The cemetery compensated him and his wife with a space for ten graves. Fortunately, space was available close by. Because of the compensation, he's been able to share some otherwise expensive plots with other relatives.
