Prior to her death, she owned about a half dozen or so plots at the local cemetery. My grandfather who predeacesed her, was previously buried there.

After my grandmother's death, I *assume* the plots probably passed to one of her children via her will. Maybe? I am not 100% certain about that. A couple of my uncles are now buried in some of the plots and I think 1 or 2 plots still may be left. My family has somehow managed to handle all of this without any drama.

My other uncle still had all the paperwork and the cemetery dude was like "yeah, cool story, bro, we have about $40,000 in reserves and you don't have a recorded deed. What are you gonna do, sue us? You'll win the keys to the cemetery if you win. I'll give them to you now if you want them and stop volunteering my time to maintain the place. Do you want them?"
