averaged about $22,000 a year in premiums. I've also max out my HSA contribution ($8,750) every single year for the last 10 years and had a starting balance in it prior to those 10 years. My HSA has been empty since June and that is the case year after year.

So for the last 4 years, I've paid $30k each year in premium and what I've pulled from my HSA. I also pay more than that, because once my HSA is zeroed out, it all has to come out of pocket. I don't have those figures handy, but I know that I've paid at least $4k more out of pocket since June for an urgent care visit and about 60% of the cost of an endoscopy.

So I'm probably paying about $35k a year average for the last 4 years for a shitty bronze level plan. Unless I trip over my individual deductables of around $10-12k per person, I'm paying huge amounts each month.

So what should I have to pay to get good coverage?.....I'm terrified to know if shit coverage cost me $3k a month.
