my wife has had two brain surgeries and just had a gigantic heart and lung artery surgery and it was covered with no issues. I had a very big spinal fusion surgery as well.

I am pretty sure that most people with medical horror stories have HMOs. I'm not saying that our system is perfect. It is not. I'm saying that if you go out and buy good insurance, you get coverage.
