But I'm outta my house at lesat 5 days a week, sometimes long hours. I have spend alot of time and money making my house as comfortable as possible. All the things I like are gathered together there.
I enjoy being at home. I enjoy visiting my neighborhood spots and shooting the shit with my fellow community folks.
Not that I don't like to go somewhere once or twice a year...but I'm a simple person. I'm not tring to string together trip after trip after trip.
Sounds exhausting.

I've lost any (slight) desire to go to India....it just seems like a shithole.
I've been told by everyone who's been that you absolutely must stay in a 5* place otherwise you'll end up with a cobra in your bed or have dudes taking dumps quite anywhere around you. If I have to pay $500-$1000 a night, I've got about 100 other places I'm going to first.

I’ve entered the latter half of my life and there’s too many places I’d rather go in the limited travel I’ll likely do.
Continental Asia is too far and seems far too stressful / uncomfortable.
I will get to Japan sometime though. Bucket list.

But fortunately, I will never have that problem. Would not step one foot in that horrible cesspool.
Bald and Bankrupt travel blog dude on YT was on a train in India and tried to use the restroom. About 2" of shit water floating throughout the entire place. And no one seemingly concerned. Certainly no one trying to either clean or fix the problem. I get the feeling the entire country is just more of the same. I've seen several travel blog folks pretty much advise travelers to avoid the country. Nothing to recommend it.
