It's been crowded as hell and expensive but there are more attractions. And if you get a park hopper pass, Disney's California Adventures just adds the the amount of rides and such. Plus they sell beer there. At Disney they have the newish Star Wars area. I haven't been but looks great. That said, I think they may have shut down one of the big star wars attractions.

Aquarium of the Pacific isn't too far north in Long Beach. That can be fun.

There is Legoland. I've never been but people love it for kids.

The Orange county beach communities are very nice for walking around and good places to eat.

It will be October so no Angels game to go to, sorry.

There is the Discovery Cube of OC. I heard that place is fun too.

And not miss Portillo's Hot Dogs right near Knott's. Best beef sandwiches this side of the Mississippi.

I'll see if anything else comes to mind.
