Yeah, she lived in Buena Park before the age of say five: came back to Chicago for kindergarten and has never left since. :-)

Anyway, we flew into maybe the John Wayne Airport late in the evening: but before checking into the hotel, we HAD to go to Knott's for some sort of dessert that they're famous for (huh, someplace named Berry Farm with a dessert? Whoda thunk it). That was her enduring childhood memory of the place. :-)

We got booted out at say 10-11 pm or whatever was their closing time. Can't remember the last time I closed a bar, but yes: I can remember closing Knott's Berry Farm. LOLOL.
