There’s literally no way I’d ever be able to afford to live here had I not married a native whose family owned property back when it was cheap. The nice new apt building in the neighborhood starts 1brs at 4k. I’m not sure the answer but it’s entirely unsustainable. It’s also why I think I read that CA has the most “sticky” residential stats with people staying in their residence an average of like 18 years? You can’t afford to move. Previous Message I got one of those American Community Surveys in the mail last week and filled it out. In going through the questions, in nearly every area that I responded, I thought the city was doing excellent, but I still don't think it's likely I'll be here in 5 years. Previous Message Dedication to fairness, equity, inclusivity, reparations still on the table .... anything else I have overlooked??
