And he was fond of giving out incredibly tough questions: How many of you got that right? How many knew what that question meant? (Bold people would hold up their hands.) LIAR!!! (Then he'd tell you the question was from like 40 years ago. His point was not to get hung up on a question you didn't know.)
All the people who got great scores from say NIU, wherever else in the state other than UIUC: yeah, I taught the head of Accounting at NIU...
He showed up at each site where they gave the exam in CU; shook hands as people walked in, gave you a little pep talk...
THOSE WERE THE DAYS!!!!
