I was rarely satisfied with my Amazon book reviews.

Some were ok. Others I would go back and read a few months later and think, blech!
Also, I rarely ever read books which have recently been published and thus there may still be a lot of potential readers trying to figure out whether they are worth the time and effort. It seems kind of pointless to review books which are in some cases many, many years old.
