I have the special stamp cancellation from Illinois recognizing the birth of HAL

Remember, HAL "became operational" in Urbana in the 1990s. The C-U stamp club got permission to offer a special cancellation, and sent offers at least to Computer Science grads of Illinois. I bought a couple. Very cool, IMO.
