Sampling Big Band or Duke? Here's that and a wide range of others

"Begin the Beguine." Listen to "The Essential Duke Ellington" or Oscar Peterson. "Time Out" by Dave Brubeck. Do you like piano music or New Age instrumentals? Something like David Arkenstone's Celtic Chillout or David Lanz or Liz Story. I have one song by Arlo Parks named Caroline because that's my granddaughter's name. Don't forget Broadway cast albums and movie sound tracks like Garden State and many, many others. The album from the French movie Amelie has some interesting music. Our family watched "That Thing You Do" enough time that we memorized a bunch of the songs. The challenge is that there are so many, and many I can say, well of course he has that on his list, which might not be true.
