I'm certain you will tell me you "just have it on in the background", but I'm going to be the debbie downer and point out that multi-tasking is a myth. Your brain doesn't multi-task, it switches between them. It's a process referred to as task-switching and it lowers productivity, reduces work quality, and increases errors by up to 40%.
