Here is what happens when it gets that crappy. Offensive efficiency goes way down. It becomes almost impossible to pop the top on any defense other than a Cover 0. You get an abridged playbook. Errant passes go way up, drops go way up, receivers get alligator arms on routes because they don't want to get hit in the ribs over the middle. The QB gets happy feet because it sucks so hard getting hit in those conditions. Everything favors the defense.

This is not a pissed off Bears fan, I don't even care for the Bears, but the 2 seed Chicago Bears should just never in a million years lose that particular game to that particular team at Soldiers Field. In the playoffs in a game like that you have to take advantage of the conditions and use your home field to win. Johnson was completely unprepared to do it.

I don't know how the Bears roster looks but the window is probably pretty narrow because Caleb is gonna get paid when his contract is up and it will erode the rest of the roster. Their window is probably down to 2026 and 2027 and I just ain't sure this guy is gonna get it done at HC. That loss was inexcusable.
