This season looks to be very unpredictable. Salford look to be the stand out side but apart from two or three teams in the chasing pack the league looks to be full of mediocrity.

Only 7 points separate 6th from 23rd and results so far have been largely unpredictable, it looks like literally anyone can beat anyone else.

Crawley are 24th and look to be the early favourites for the drop but they just sacked their manager. With new manager bounce It would only take a couple of wins and they’d be back in the pack.
We’d better hope they don’t get one of them against ourselves on Saturday but we all know full well this is Latics….always expect the unexpected!!

We cannot allow this run to continue beyond November because we could end up in real trouble!!
