✏️ Yellow Card
The Rothwell family undoubtedly saved the club by forking out £12 million pounds to acquire the club, the ground and the land around it. In doing so they got a nice little deal which will increase in value.
As for the running of the club, income depends on gate receipts and other income streams. Attendances have so far been good but are very much dependent on the type of football and advancement of the team with exciting performances!
The first foray in appointing a team manager( Unsworth) was a total disaster, but we recovered and somehow got free from the National league under Mellon.
Because there is little in the kitty, all the money (12 million£) having been gobbled up in the takeover, the Rothwells are at a crossroads
as Mellon needs to be replaced as manager and half the playing squad in the January window. What will they do,stick or twist.
