Not necessarily - Pedro2 because all the time you've owned it there would have been Automatic Updates taking place in the Backgrouns as in Version Numbers. Often you can stop those updates if you don't want them and that's what I was hinting at the other day. Amazon want to take full control of your Firestick regardless of your needs because they would make zillions if they took control of every Firestick on the Planet. If we can "Freeze" Updates that we know won't benefit our Firesticks we could probably hang onto those and then buy the very newest as and when we ned to. Only the Experts out there know what's going on at Amazon - we await the leaks to get information.
