Good Post - I hesitated so will reply and add to yours. If we had 3 or 4 Fondops nobody would complain - ditto Norburn and about 4 others. The Salford Manager is a Class Act - can't recall Chesterfield's. We have quite a few Players of smaller stature that don't quite add up to Nobby Stiles standard. We played better thankfully but without 4 new Players come January weare going nowhere because we will still have a "Weak Bench" - did you note Salford's? I saw a clip of Frank in the Stand and he didn't look happy or sad - but he was motionless and that's not good. The clip wasn't long enough to say he lookede forlorn or not, but he wasn't smiling or chatting. MM looked the same - miserable and so did Gabin. Who's going to score Goals? Who's going to stop better Players? Will Hudson get sick of plucking the Ball from his nets? Roy Butterworth upon hearing the 8k Plus Attendance said it would drop if we don't start winning. The Match Commentators all saw what we saw basically. Plenty of praise for Salford and simply not as much for us Second half told a story - we simply were not good enough to either Draw or Win the match as much as we tried. Personally I don't feel as confident as last Season or as confident when MM brought in fairly unknown Players and no Norwood replacement. I reckon we will average 1.2 points per match barring any major injuries and on the assumption that our Players play at their best every match. Roll on January.
