There’s a couple of threads on this now Cass and I’ve got to come down on the side of the solution lies with players, managers, rule makers and the spiritual code of football. The fans hate it, we don’t want to see it so they need to do something about it but they never do it or if they do they don’t stick to it. I’ll give you a good example - the World Cup where they suddenly started giving penalties against the wrestlers. It worked. Then they stopped and it’s worse than ever. They have rules now for time wasting, Yellow cards, remove them from the pitch, wait till they come back. Remove the keeper from the pitch when he gets cramp before a corner and they will soon stop cheating.
