Please offer your opinions. I would like to see the introduction of timed games. It would be logical to make each game 60 minutes long, stopping the clock each time play is stopped. Studies have been made and the conclusion reached that most games consist of no more than 60 minutes play. The remainder is injuries, goal kicks, throw ins, free kicks, and general time wasting. If the clock was stopped when the ball is not in play, time wasting would become a thing of the past. Some PL games have been timed at less than 43 minutes actual football so this would be progress. I realise that there are some limitations to this system but there are many benefits. What do you think?
