The goalkeeping coach has a lot to answer for too IMO, he is always on the touchline near Brabin shouting instructions. Hudson, who I rate must have been told to boot it at every opportunity. Because our midfielders can’t receive a pass with their backs to the opposing goal, and other players don’t make themselves available, it always ends up with the centre haves or Hudson launching it. Of course these are Mellons midfield players so the buck stops with Mellon.
