…having just perused the OWTB forum, there are a number of contributors on there who seem quite happy to toddle along with Mellon as manager, despite the alarming standard of football being put before them at present. Mellon deserves a pat on the back for doing what he was brought in to do, get us out of the NL, but I think he should be given a wave goodbye and replaced with someone a little more inspirational. We have nothing to lose by getting rid of him now. A fourteen point gap between us and relegation should allow us enough time to rescue the season, even though we should be playoff contenders. This quite decent squad has been badly served by Mellon.
