Well a little addition to the story. Evans wnt to Bosion when they were a Conference club from, if I remember, Stamford. And why wouldn't he? Anyway. Boston and Stamford were in the Lincs County Cup Final. My mate scored the first goal. And was causing a few problems. Evans made a substitution. He pointed at my ate and the sub came on. His first action of the game was to make a horrific foul on my mate. At the time he was stretchered off with a suspected broken ankle. The thing is, my mate was part timer, he was meant to be at work with me the next day. That is how horrible he is!!! Boston still lost.
