Steve Evans who has just taken the Bristol Rovers job was offered the Latics job during the Lemsagam era but turned us down.
Will be interesting to see how he gets on there.

He previously kept Stevenage up at our expense and then followed it with promotion to Division 1 in his 1st season and got them challenging for promotion to the Championship the season after!

It wouldn’t surprise me to see them finishing above us this season as Evans usually makes an immediate impression one way or the other!!
