Messiah - sorry, what?

When did that happen - don’t recall even at the height of the celebrations, anyone on here saying that. Think the biggest compliment he got was that he had landed (fortuitously or not) on a winning formula in the play offs.

Let’s get it right - MMs football was dire for the vast majority of last season. It got us points but boy was it awful to watch for the majority of the time. Then we played lovely football in all the play off games- for which he got praised - but don’t think anyone forgot the rubbish that had gone before and think most were waiting to be convinced that MM could wheel and deal better and then produce more entertaining football.

Thanks though Greenacres - that gave me a good belly laugh, appreciated. To paraphrase Monty Python - MM is not the Messiah, he’s a very naughty boy!
