There’s no argument that he’s signed some duffers ..but who hasn’t ? ..big Joe signed a few and don’t forget our last managers bargains !!! Our recent managers just don’t seem to having the knack of unearthing a few non league gems like Joe did ..Ward ..Quinn ..there must be some out there !! Martin O’Neill was on the radio the other night and he made the point that you can spend millions on a player but until he’s at your club and playing , interacting with staff etc ..it’s all a gamble
