Good thing it was an aerometric filler or I wouldn't have figured it out!
....I went to the local office store, bought a jar of Parker Quink, and I was off to the races. It worked perfectly! Sadly, I got a Parker 61 with some other stuff a while later and didn't have a clue about what it was. I tried prying off the "cartridge" and broke it.
