Nice introduction to fountain pens!!! Back when I started collecting, Parker 51s in the wild were almost unheard. Some specialty stores sold restored ones in the UK (where I lived), but they were incredibly expensive. It took me about five years before I found a good one that I could afford! eBay changed all that, of course!
