A number of folks folks consider this one to be a "noir western"--what's your take on that? Freelancing cinematographer Leo Tover, in a Fox phase at this time, had several notable noirs on his resumé (DEAD RECKONING, THE WOMAN ON THE BEACH, I WALK ALONE).
