Absolutely should be part of a broader survey of 50s/60s B-films with enough "criminosity" to get a shot with a cynical-but-sympathetic theater audience.
Just a few titles to get us started:
SCREAM OF THE BUTTEFLY (1965, Eber Lobato)
THE THRILL KILLERS (1964, Ray Dennis Stecker) -->these first two included to get ChiBob interested!
RIGHT HAND OF THE DEVIL (1963, Aram Katcher)
WOMANHUNT (1962, Maury Dexter)
YOU HAVE TO RUN FAST (1961, Edward L. Cahn)
THE CAT BURGLAR (1961, William Witney)
20,000 EYES (1961, Jack Leewood)
GET OUTTA TOWN (1960, Charles Davis)
THE WALKING TARGET (1960, Edward L. Cahn)
CODE OF SILENCE (1960, Mel Welles)
THE YOUNG CAPTIVES (1959, Irvin Kershner)
And the flood of titles from 1955-1959 can ensue from here...
