WATCH THE BIRDIE...DIE! is one of two films bankrolled by Jacques "Jack" Descent, the other being a late Ed Wood script called OPERATION REDLIGHT which apparently ran into a number of production problems that are sketched out at the DEAD 2 RIGHTS blog:

BEWARE THE BLACK WIDOW seems to be an attempt to turn soft porn star Sharon Kent into something akin to a femme fatale. Director Larry Crane was very prolific in a short period of time in the late 60s, and some of his titles are available through Something Weird Video.
There is an odd, wide-ranging "Roughies 1963-68" list at IMDB that includes a number of better-known films that one might argue approach this "region" of more explicitly sexual storylines. This dovetails us back to a thread we had some years back with Solomon (pretty sure it has rolled off the Board by now, though) but it remains interesting for its relationship to the "anything goes" ethos that exploded into view in the 60s.

I think the climate here in the US is such that a film series overly saturated with "roughies" would be very difficult to get green-lighted. I think you could "sneak up to it" with a second feature that pushed the envelope. Maybe ChiBob wants to revisit some of that, since he's been spending time with the tamer side of this material of late...
